the gist Cheap private rooms near campus with utilities included appeal to budget-conscious students, backed by a responsive landlord. Thin walls, small spaces, and older furnishings are consistent drawbacks. The community caters to Mormon students through organized programming.AI-generated from student reviews

Honestly a great place to live. Super cheap rent ($3180 for the year for 25-26 school year, up to $200 dollar discount from that price), especially for a private room. Very close to campus, although you do have to walk up a steep hill. All utilities are included, but I've heard Internet is slow, but it's personally not been a problem and I do some Internet intensive things. Trish is a great landlord. Nice mattresses. A few things to be aware of: Walls in the apartment are a bit thin, so sound does travel a bit. The apartments are not modern-looking, but that's personally a plus. The laundry is true coin-op only accepting quarters, but they are good machines. Oh, and technically the apartments don't come with microwaves, but it's very likely that someone has already gotten a microwave. All relatively small things though. Really, the price has to be the best bang for your buck for student housing. Pretty sure a comparable apartment would be at least $1000 dollars more. Highly recommend if you can get in
